Seen those "oak furniture land" adverts and their "no veneer in here!" diatribe?
I attach a photo of a commode made by one of the finest furniture makers in 18th century France; Jean Henri Riesener.
It's veneered.
It's also worth more than the entire life of "Oak furniture land", is made to a level they couldn't even wish to attain in their Vietnam sweatshop, and caused less wastage of valuable materials like timber.
I guess what I'm saying is "Oak furniture land" is for dicks.
