The Edmonton Oilers were still in this game until that blown call over puck possession. We hear all the sports analyst salarys talk about how the team needs to stick with and keep competing but they were doing that, even with all the defensive breakdowns they were still in it. The NHL is turning into one of the worst professional sports leagues, first with all the watered down talent because there are too many teams, then with the high salaries that force team to let go of veterans who cou...ld still play but teams can not afford to keep around, so they are forced to bring in younger players who are not ready or are not NHL calibre players. On top of that we fans have to watch the worse professional officials of any sport that contribute to a diluted experience. The crazy part is that if the Oilers were winning and not struggling so much these last years, we probably wouldn't even notice all that other stuff. I probably wouldn't be in such a bad mood if this sciatica wasn't being such a pain in the ass also though lol
